Radio for Empty Spaces
My taxi driver, on the way to Coetzee delivering the PEN lecture last night (which was just his Nobel Lecture, boringly enough, or interestingly, depending on your tastes), spoke Arabic, French and English, and told me he had a “flat memory”—he had read a lot in his life but couldn’t remember much of it. I like that phrase, flat memory, maybe because I have one. So in order not to forget when to tune in to the radio, I made a radio schedule for myself, and for you—Radio for Empty Spaces—a link to which can also hereafter be perpetually found on the right hand side of the screen here at et cetera...

Hi there!
Thanks for tracking me back (although the URI I put there is my blog, not Utility Fog’s page)... Nice to see Utility Fog in very fine company on your “Radio…” page :)
Cheers,
Peter

Sensational schedule brad.
FBI is often so good it makes 2SER sound like tripleJ.

2SER never sounds like Triple J to me – it’s pretty far removed from that tripe. Both FBi and SER have their great listening p;oints across the week I reckon.

ah Brad. You’re so full of know how and how to. And a splendid maker of schedules. Will you be my P.A?

Just one point, though: my records are better than your records.
Just wanted to clarify that.

Hey Peter,
Given that your records are probably a superset of mine (judging by your Utility Fog playlists), how I can dispute?

laff It’s possible. My room is in danger of imploding around me from the weight of CDs and records… And I don’t wish to suggest for a minute that you don’t have splendid taste, sir.
